How to Clean and Care for Your Sili Gloves

Your Sili Gloves are built to last — but like any quality tool, they perform best when properly cared for. Follow these simple cleaning and care instructions to keep them in top condition.

Cleaning Your Sili Gloves

When it comes to cleaning your Sili Gloves, not all products are created equal. We recommend using 70% isopropyl alcohol — and only 70% isopropyl alcohol. Other solvents can degrade the silicone material and shorten the life of your gloves. Keep it simple and stick with what works.

To clean:

  1. Apply 70% isopropyl alcohol to a clean cloth or directly to the gloves.
  2. Wipe down the surface thoroughly.
  3. Allow to air dry completely before use or storage.
  4. For the lycra on the knuckle-side, apply the cloth and hold for a few seconds to break up any resin, then wipe away

Removing Lint and Threads

After cleaning, you may notice lint or loose threads clinging to the silicone surface — that's totally normal. Silicone has a natural tackiness that can attract fibers. To remove them, simply use a lint roller or a piece of masking tape. Press firmly and peel away — your gloves will look good as new.

A Few Things to Avoid

  • Do not use solvents other than 70% isopropyl alcohol
  • Do not scrub with abrasive materials
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat when storing

With the right care routine, your Sili Gloves will stay clean, functional, and ready to go whenever you need them.
